Bykov, Zakharkin Summarize Team Russia Venture to the Apennines, Announce Swedish Games Roster
In particular the two Team Russia bench bosses commented on the trip to Italy for two sparring exhibitions:
"In the framework of pre World Championship preparations National Team have played two games against Hockey Azzuri winning first 4-1 and tieing second 3-3. In those games we gave a fair show to a few newcomers to the Squad most of whom were young players, to give them a sporting chance. Monday the team will set off on the final stage of preparations playing FIN, CZE and SWE in the next phase of Eurohockey Tour known s Swedish Hockey Games showdown.”
