2018 Women's U18 World Championship. Semi-final. Sweden - Russia - 2:1

In the 2018 Women's U18 World Championship semi-final, Russia fell to Sweden 1:2.

Despite coming into the match with real hope of making the final for the first time in history, the Russians failed to make home advantage count in Dmitrov. Ilona Markova equalised in the third period after Josefin Bouveng had given the Swedes a lead, but Jenny Antonsson punished Russia for ill discipline late on in regulation time.

Russia will now play Canada in the bronze medal game tomorrow.
